Beginners Run Club

Exclusively Women Only!)

Progressive training to get you from walking to running. All abilities, all ages, all welcome!

Our aim:
• Fitness
• Fun
• Friendship

This programme is aimed at beginners to build up their fitness, it is also a good warm up for a longer run for more experienced runners returning from injury or illness. It mixes walking and running bouts, gradually reducing the length of walking.

These sessions run 3 times a week for 6 weeks between April and June.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 6.30pm for 6.45pm start. Saturdays 10.30am for 10.45am start

There is an optional walk/run challenge at the end of the course, this is the 5km Women’s Race For Life in aid of Cancer Research. Put the training into practice, raise money for a good cause and feel a great sense of achievement.
